GMO’s- The Future Plagues
This section will deal with the controversial issue of genetic modification of food and other crops (e.g. cotton). Personally, I see this as a very bad science fiction novel in which the mad scientists are trying to create something without a full understanding of the subject matter or regard for the safety of the world.
Man reveals his lack of vision at every turn, doesn’t he? It took 9-11 for us to finally put locks on the doors to the airline pilot’s cabin. It has taken countless suicides for drug companies to finally put that little black box warning label on popular antidepressant medications. And it took nearly 100 years to become aware of the cataclysmic damage done by man’s worst nutritional creation…hydrogenated oils (trans fats).
What will they be writing about GMO’s fifty years from now? Will the scientists of the day be looked upon as the practitioners of medieval medicine? How many catastrophes must we suffer before they realize that we are headed down the wrong path…the left hand path…just as we have done with drugs, our diets, and food additives?
May God have mercy on us all.

Welcome to the blog of the new DogtorJ.com. New research into the origin of our medical woes has revealed something startling: As it turns out, we are our own worst enemy. Yes, the Pogo quote of yesteryear found in the title of this article is quite accurate when applied to our medical lives. We love to discuss those things that we call “causes” of diseases even though we often have little clue as to how these things really cause illness. Even medical professionals can have difficulty grasping the true cause-and-effect. But that is understandable once some insight is gained into the true nature of medical training.

I will do my best to balance the bad with the good, but try to remember: Much of this will seem like bad news but at least we know about it now…and can change it!
